Full external rendering of a house or business:
You can render anything from a small garden wall, a single external wall or the full external walls on the house as well as any internal masonry walls.
Remember to factor in waste removal when booking your expert plastering team and also if it is a complete house you will need to ensure you have thought about scaffolding.
Full external rendering of a 3–4-bedroom property can take up to 14 days depending on the chosen finish and complexity.
If the existing render on the property is cracked, it may need to be removed, an expert plasterer will be able to advise you on the condition of the current render, if it needs to be removed and provide a quote for the required aspects of rendering your property.
A full render of the property will improve the life expectancy of the external walls but there may be ongoing maintenance if you decide to paint the surface. If the walls have air vents, alarms or other external features this may increase the cost and work load for the plastering team.
Full internal plastering jobs can be anything from an individual ceiling or room, plastering of new rooms created through a loft conversion, to an extension or a new build.
The process Expert Plasterers follow when taking on a new job:
A site visit to inspect the substrate to establish the approach to the plastering materials needed and the budget the client has to spend.
A quote is sent over to the client to enable them to discuss with the admin team to understand how long the job is going to take and agree a price in advance.
Once the client has agreed to carry out the works, the team will attend site cover any surfaces with sheeting to protect floors and carpets, and carry out the work.
A primer is applied to the walls.
Install the angle beads to ensure there will be a clean finish to the corner of the walls.
Apply a first coat to the wall, allow this to partially dry and apply a finishing coat.
